Sean Henry in his studio in Wiltshire. Sean has been sculpting for over twenty-seven years. He was the first sculptor to win the Villiers David Prize in 1998. His work is regularly exhibited by galleries in London, New York and throughout Europe and can be seen in public collections in the UK, Sweden and the USA. Over the years he’s created in excess of a thousand works of art to considerable critical acclaim, several of which can be seen in open spaces across Europe and America. His work is singularly tactile and you can almost feel his hands deep in the clay.
“Head, hands, heart – this is what I need to make my art and I can’t really separate them. They are who I am.”
